Mirador is a luxurious gated community found inside McDowell Mountain Ranch. It was developed by T.W. Lewis Company consists of 73 homes.

When Mirador was first introduced in March of 1999, pricing began at $337,900 for the Viento model, and went as high as $399,900 for the largest home. In November of 1998, the Ceilo, with 3,798 square feet, was added to the development. Presently prices range from $1,000,000 to $1,650,000. Homes with the best views and largest lots have the highest values.

Mirador offers 8 unique single-story floor plans. These floor plans range in size from 2,436 square feet to 4,053 square feet. Each model was offered in three different exterior “elevations” and also had a number of customizable exterior options. The eight different floor plans of Mirador are Viento, Tierra, Solana, Centella, Sereno, Paraiso, Ladera, and Cielo. These exterior options give the community a unique and varied look. These extra elevations could potentially increase the square footage by 300 sq. feet.

Mirador is located south of Desert Cliffs and north of Sienna Canyon. It is found in the foothills of McDowell Mountain Ranch. This perfect location gives homeowners glorious city light and mountain views. This community offers multiple recreational walking and jogging trails.It is located in close proximity to the McDowell Golf Club and in walking distance to the community center. Children in McDowell Mountain Ranch attend Desert Canyon Elementary and Middle Schools, Desert Mountain High School as well as several private schools such as Notre Dame College Preparatory High School.

Follow the McDowell Mountain Ranch Road and you will discover the Community Center. It offers accessibility to the marvelous mountain views, and the adjacent trail system. Desert Canyon Elementary School and Desert Canyon Middle School, rated top schools, are located in the community.  The community loves its 20,000 square foot Arabian Library, Aquatic Center with a 600-foot lazy river and 8-lanes lap pool, and a 16,000 square feet Skate Park.
