AQUATIC CENTER

 The McDowell Mountain Ranch Aquatic Center is a public swimming pool facility located in the McDowell Mountain Ranch neighborhood in Scottsdale, Arizona, United States. The aquatic center features a large leisure pool, a lap pool, a diving pool with a 1-meter and 3-meter diving board, a splash pad, water slides, and a spa.

The leisure pool is a 6,000 square foot pool with zero-depth entry, water sprays, and fountains. The lap pool is a 25-yard pool that is heated for year-round use. The diving pool is 12-feet deep and includes two diving boards. The aquatic center also offers swim lessons, water aerobics classes, and hosts special events.

The McDowell Mountain Ranch Aquatic Center is open to the public, and admission fees vary depending on age and residency status. The facility is operated by the City of Scottsdale’s Parks and Recreation Department and is a popular destination for residents and visitors seeking a fun and refreshing way to beat the Arizona heat.

 While the community itself does not offer any entertainment venues, there are several options for entertainment in the surrounding area. Some of the great entertainment options are: WestWorld of Scottsdale, TPC Scottsdale, The McDowell Sonoran Preserve, Kierland Commons, Scottsdale Fashion Square and many more. In addition to these entertainment options, there are several parks, restaurants, and cultural attractions in the Scottsdale area. With its close proximity to Mcdowell Mountain Ranch, residents have access to a wide variety of activities and entertainment.

GOLF COURSES

 There are several golf courses located near McDowell Mountain Ranch in Scottsdale, Arizona. Some of the most popular golf courses in the area include: McDowell Mountain Ranch Golf Club, The Country Club at DC Ranch, TPC Scottsdale, Grayhawk Golf Club, Troon North Golf Club,  Kierland Golf Club and  Talking Stick Golf Club. All of these courses offer a unique golfing experience with beautiful views and challenging holes, making them a great choice for golfers in the area.

HOA INFORMATION

The Mcdowell Mountain Ranch Homeowners Association (HOA) is a community organization that manages and maintains the common areas and amenities within the Mcdowell Mountain Ranch community. The HOA is responsible for enforcing the community’s rules and regulations, managing the community’s finances, and maintaining the community’s facilities and amenities. ICE DEN

 The Ice Den is North Scottsdale world-class skate facility.  This 120,000 square-foot state-of-the art skate facility is also home to Mountainside Fitness, Chilly Bean Cafe, 18 Degrees Neighborhood Grill, Over Easy, and Coyotes pro-shop.  Ice Den opened in June of 1998 originally was intended to be a practice facility for the Phoenix Coyotes.  As building progressed, it was realized that the Coyotes would only occupy a small percentage of the ice den for practice.  It was decided that the Ice Den had enough potential to open a multi-use public facility.

LIBRARY

The Arabian Library is a public library located in Scottsdale, Arizona, USA. It is part of the Scottsdale Public Library System and serves the local community with a collection of books, magazines, newspapers, and electronic resources. The library was named after the Arabian horse breed, which has a strong presence in the Scottsdale area. The building’s architecture and design were also inspired by the Arabian horse.

The Arabian Library features a large collection of materials, including books in various languages, magazines, and newspapers. It also offers electronic resources such as e-books, audiobooks, online databases, and computer access. In addition to its collection, the Arabian Library hosts various programs and events throughout the year, including author visits, book clubs, storytimes for children, and classes and workshops on various topics. The library is open to the public and offers free membership to residents of Scottsdale and Maricopa County.

RESTAURANTS

 There are several dining options to suit various tastes in the McDowell Mountain Ranch area. If you’re in the mood for Italian cuisine, you could try Sophia’s Kitchen for wood-fired pizzas and pastas, or La Torretta Ristorante for a fine dining experience. For Asian fusion cuisine, Ling & Louie’s Asian Bar and Grill offers Korean barbecue, Thai curries, and sushi. Meanwhile, Jalapeño Inferno is a great option for those who love Mexican dishes like homemade salsas, fresh guacamole, and traditional Mexican entrees. For a more casual dining experience, you could visit All American Modern Sports Grill for burgers, wings, and other pub food. The Living Room Wine Cafe & Lounge is another option, with a cozy atmosphere and small plates, flatbreads, and salads. And if you’re in the mood for classic New York-style pizza, Grimaldi’s Pizzeria is the place to go!

SCHOOLS

 McDowell Mountain Ranch is unique in that Scottsdale Unified School District planned an educational complex, housing both elementary and middle schools on the same campus. This campus is located in the community of McDowell Mountain Ranch at the corner of Thompson’s Peak Parkway and McDowell Mountain Ranch Road.

These schools are all excellent schools with Excelling scores from the state of Arizona. Parents and teachers are very involved with the education and learning experiences of the children. There are many events, musicals and Fun fundraisers that are very successful for the children, creating a community and assisting in funding the education opportunities.

SONORAN PRESERVE

 The Sonoran Preserve in McDowell Mountain Ranch is a natural area located in North Scottsdale. The preserve spans over 30,000 acres and is home to a variety of native plant and animal species.

The preserve features over 36 miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. The trails range in difficulty from easy to strenuous and offer stunning views of the surrounding mountains and desert landscape.

WEST WORLD

 WestWorld is a multi-purpose entertainment and events venue located in Scottsdale. It is owned and operated by the City of Scottsdale and covers an area of approximately 386 acres. The venue is known for its versatility and state-of-the-art facilities, which allow it to host a wide range of events, including concerts, trade shows, equestrian events, and sports competitions.

WestWorld was originally developed in 1985 as a park for horse shows and equestrian events. Over the years, it has undergone several expansions and renovations to become the world-class venue that it is today.
